A-Plus® Metal Primers are Alkyd-based rust-inhibiting primers that are lead free, safe, and environment friendly. It is formulated using a unique combination of high grade rust inhibiting pigments that are more corrosion resistant than low cost metal primers that use traditional lead and chromate pigments. It has superior adhesion and hiding, allowing long-term protection for interior/exterior steel and iron surfaces.

  1. Primer: Apply at least 2 coats of A-Plus® Metal Primer using a brush/roller.
  2. Topcoat: Apply 2-3 coats of your choice of paint such as A-Plus® Quick Drying Enamel or Glazer® Industrial Epoxy Enamel.

For New Galvanized Iron:

  1. Remove dust, dirt, grease, oil, wax and other foreign matter using a rag soaked in paint thinner.
  2. Acid etch the surface by applying 10% A-Plus® Rust Converter (dilute 1 part solution to 9 parts water). Let it sit for 10 – 15 minutes before washing off surface thoroughly with water, letting it dry before applying paint.

For Repainting:

  1. Scrape off old paint film to bare substrate then remove oil and grease by detergent cleaning followed by scuff sanding. If necessary, use A-Plus Supertanggal® Paint Remover.
  2. To remove rust, wire brush or sand affected areas while applying A-Plus® Rust Converter. Let it sit for 10 – 15 minutes before washing off surface thoroughly with water, letting it dry before applying paint.
  3. A-Plus® Metal Primer should be applied immediately upon drying of the surface before rust sets in.

Principal Uses: Used for architectural and industrial metal or structural steel such as beams, doors, trusses. framing, railings, machinery, and many more.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. Standard Shipping Our delivery lead time for Metro Manila is 2-4 business days; For Luzon Area, 5-7 business days; and for Visayas and Mindanao, it is 7-10 business days. Same Day Delivery Same Day Delivery is currently only available within Metro Manila from Mondays to Saturdays. Same Day Delivery is on payment first before delivery policy. The delivery rate is based on the rates provided by our courier partner Grab Express via their Grab Express App. Payment can be settled via GCash, or Bank Transfer through Instapay at BDO or Unionbank.
Courier Partners tgconehub.com’s trusted partner couriers are Entrego, Gogo, and Grab Express. Delivery through LBC can be considered as an alternative on a case-to-case basis. If your location is not within the serviceable area of our main partner couriers. However, shipping fees will be according to LBC rates and payment must be settled first before delivery. Cash On Pickup is currently not available thru LBC.
Orders Outside Of The Philippines We currently don't serve international orders on a large scale. You may get in touch with us if you need help with orders of this nature as we can work out a plan for your order. You can order from outside of the Philippines provided the item will be delivered to a Philippine address.
